Output Over Presence
We measure contribution by delivered work — not hours logged or meetings attended. Most of our team works asynchronously across multiple time zones. Results and accountability are the metrics that matter here.
Full Transparency Internally
The same transparency we practise externally applies internally. Platform performance data, audit results, strategy decisions, and investment committee outcomes are shared with all team members — not filtered by seniority.
Ownership by Default
Every person on this team owns something real. There are no support roles hidden behind a senior person's work. If you are in a role at Halofinity, you are responsible for a function this platform depends on — and for making it better.
Remote-First, European-Based
Our core team operates across Germany and the UK. Many roles are remote-eligible across our 50+ operating countries. We are building a global platform from a European foundation with institutional-grade infrastructure, and our hiring reflects that intentionally.

Investment & Portfolio
Senior Portfolio Analyst
Full-time Remote / London, UK Investment

Support the Investment Committee with portfolio analysis, strategy performance modelling, and prospectus data verification. CFA or MSc Finance required. Min 3 years in an institutional PM or research role.

Quantitative Risk Analyst
Full-time Frankfurt, Germany Risk

Model strategy exposure scenarios and maintain risk limit frameworks under the Head of Risk. Python/R required. Experience in market risk or alternative fund risk management preferred.

Backend Engineer (Laravel / PHP)
Full-time Remote Technology

Build and maintain the core platform infrastructure — investor dashboard, yield engine, deposit/withdrawal processing. 3+ years Laravel experience. Familiarity with financial data logic a strong advantage.

Manage cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and uptime monitoring. AWS/GCP. Experience with financial application infrastructure preferred. SLA-minded with strong on-call response capability.

Support AML/KYC review workflows, investor documentation processing, and regulatory change monitoring. CAMS or ICA qualification preferred. Entry-level to 2 years experience accepted.

Support large investor onboarding, manage institutional enquiry pipeline, and assist with quarterly audit communication. Background in private wealth, financial advisory, or client-facing IR role required.

Salaries benchmarked against comparable roles in the fintech and investment management sectors. Reviewed annually. Performance bonuses for roles with measurable output targets.
Remote-Eligible for Most Roles
The majority of our roles are remote-eligible within time zone constraints. No mandatory office attendance unless the role specifically requires in-person presence in Germany or the UK (noted in each listing).
Investor Access at Employee Rates
All employees are eligible to invest on the Halofinity platform with waived management fees for the duration of their employment. The same strategies available to our investors, with no fee deduction.
Professional Development Budget
An annual professional development allowance for certifications, courses, and conferences. We actively support CFA, ACCA, CAMS, and technical certifications relevant to your role.
Clear Responsibilities, No Ambiguity
Every role has a documented function, defined deliverables, and a clear reporting structure. We do not create roles that overlap or blur accountability across team members.
